  • Dr. Christopher Green, MD

    Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician

    Dr. Christopher Green, MD is a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician with his practice located in the Associated Physicians Group Alton location.

    Dr. Green graduated with honors from the University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago in 1979. He did his medical internship and residency at North Carolina Memorial Hospital, the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

    He is currently president of the Alton Medical Society, a member of the American College of Physicians, the Illinois State Medical Society, and the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, ECG interpretation and ACLS certified. Dr. Green has held many Medical Director positions throughout his career, including d’Adrian Nursing Home, Eunice Smith Nursing Home, BJC Home Health and Hatch extended care/subacute care

    Dr. Green is a lifelong resident of Alton IL. He graduated from Marquette Catholic High School in Alton and did undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana where he received a BA in Chemistry and a BA in Biology.

  • Dr. Hamed Sadeghipour, MD

    Interventional Joint & Spine Specialist, Anesthesiologist, and Intensivist (Critical Care Physician)

    Dr. Sadeghipour is a Physician-Scientist, Anesthesiologist, Intensivist, and Interventional Joint & Spine Specialis who is humbled and honored to have been trained in the top highest-ranked hospitals nationwide.

    He completed his postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Boston. Then, after completing two years of intense surgical training at Harvard Medical School’s affiliated Brigham and Women's Hospital he went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where he completed his anesthesiology training followed by critical care fellowship. At that time, he was taking care of the sickest and most complicated patients in ICU. His passion for interventional pain management led him to get his pain fellowship degree from one of the nation’s top universities, Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.

    Dr. Sadeghipour is currently an assistant professor at Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital where he provides anesthesia and takes care of patients with acute pain. He also provides education and training to medical students, and anesthesiology residents on a daily basis.

    Dr. Sadeghipour has received numerous awards and honors throughout his career including the 2019 Excellent in Research Award from the Department of Anesthesiology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He recently received the SSM SLUCare Anesthesiology Award for Initiative, Creativity, and Leadership in Education.

    Dr. Sadeghipour’s research projects have been published in numerous scientific journals and he has presented his works in many national and international conferences worldwide.

    Dr. Sadeghipour draws on his extensive experience to provide an evidence-based, patient-tailored approach to treat acute and chronic pain improving the quality of life of his patients. He is trained in a wide variety of pain conditions and treatment techniques. Dr. Sadeghipour is dedicated to critically evaluating and offering the most cutting-edge therapies to his patients. Dr. Sadeghipour is seeing patients at all of our locations.
